  1. I lay in bed and rest my entire body just let it lay there and I fall asleep for a good deep sleep. also after work when I take naps I get into the biggest deep sleeps where I start drooling.

  2. NSDR – funny thing. I can almost fall asleep at daytime in 13 minutes like five times… when I sitting at my desk (and do ndsr, not just random, lol). But at night that's not so simple (I have two cats – they especially loves me when I go to bed – an hour of purring, walking around without meaning, tails at your nose, etc, so there is no so simple way for me to chose, for example, 6 hours of sleep and kept it, I never now how long my bedtime awakeness will be).

  3. His point about consistent amount of sleep makes sense but doctors have been saying for generations your body needs 7 to 9 hours a night so its hard for me to change my opinion based on 1 persons opinion in a clickbait youtube video

  4. This is very interesting. Those 90 minute cycles make it to where 6 or 9 hours of sleep would be a better sweet spot compared to 7 or 8 hours of sleep. This is because 4 cycles are completed in six hours and 6 cycles are completed in 9 hours.

  5. For me ideal sleep time is 9 hours. Less than that I feel a bit tired. I think the amount of sleep one needs varies from person to person

  6. Just because your brain has been used to 6-hour nights of sleep for years and you "think" you're in shape during the day doesn't mean you're really in shape.
Many people don't even realize that they're tired, all the time.
The brain has enormous powers of adaptation.
A group of Mediterranean people have one of the highest life expectancies on earth. They sleep between 7.30 and 9 hours a night and also take a short nap in the early afternoon, of around 20-30 minutes.
Thinking you're rested and being truly rested are different.
Sleep deprivation is the most widespread disease in the world and the indiscutable root of many other diseases.

Lack of sleep is the most advanced weapon the era of modern industry indirectly created.

The title of the video is really badly worded and very dangerous.
The goal is not to sleep 8 hours to recover, but to sleep 8 hours all the time, 365 days a year.

  7. The 20-30 min nap isn't for me. I always rind myself dazed and wanting to sleep for an hour after that. I get a consistent amount of 10 hours a night in my vacation right now. When I was giving my exams, 8 hours worked wonders. I didn't even have to put an alarm. My system just woke itself up at exactly 8 hours of sleep. Sometimes I felt tired, but it was mostly because I didn't want to study 😂

  8. I used to work 3rd shift and would usually sleep less than 4 hours during the day. I could briefly fall asleep while standing or walking at work and had to catch myself from falling numerous times. Some of my coworkers got a kick out of watching me almost fall over. Starting taking 20 minute naps during my lunch break and woke up feeling more refreshed than I would after 4 hours. Later after switching jobs I would try to replicate this effect but napped too long and would wake up feeling groggy. It's interesting how more isn't necessarily better.

  9. After sleeping for 6 hours per day for over 1 year I can say one thing. I just want to die for sleeping not enough always bad mood, always feeling tired. I got the point 'consistency' and it helps with work but human organism/body must get enough rest. The 'consistency' thing won't change that your body MUST rest and You can't change that thing… well You can if You want to die faster.

  10. 8 hours is the worst? nothing this guy communicated even suggests that. stop with the ridiculous clickbait. let the content speak for itself or just don't.

  11. I don't like to sleep. If I never had to sleep again, I would be pleased. I've been a 5-6 hour a night sleeper all my life. 4-5 when I was younger. Drove my mum nuts cuz I wouldn't take a nap – I'd just lay there wide awake.
I accept that I have to sleep, but do not want to give away my life hours to the unconscious, unproductive time.

  12. I wish he had said how long to lie down with feet elevated or what how to achieve/duration of NSDR will clear out the fog. Headed to Amazon to buy a yoga mat for lying down at work now…

  13. I totally agree…..my body wakes up all by itself after napping for 20 minutes and I feel totally reenergized afterwards….or as he says, relaxing for about the same amount of time, if I can’t sleep when wanting to take a nap….100% works for me what he says..
