The Monroe County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) said an unsuspecting boater found the bale of narcotics on July 15. When deputies arrived at the Caloosa Cove Resort & Marina at 8:07 p.m. they met with the boater and confirmed the 2.8 lbs. package was marijuana. The U.S. Coast Guard and U.S. Border Patrol were notified of the incident. (MCSO)
