Police are once again pleading with citizens to adhere to the legal limits of marijuana possession, which is up to 30 grammes per person.
This reminder comes after a 28-year-old man from Bushe Street in San Juan was arrested with 146 grammes yesterday afternoon.
The suspect was held during a police operation led by Insp Bharath and Cpl Andrews.
The officers were conducting patrols in the area when upon reaching Bushe Street, they observed the suspect. On seeing the police vehicle, the 28-year-old attempted to walk away, arousing the suspicions of the lawmen.
The man was intercepted, searched, and when the drugs were found, he was arrested.
