  1. I wish more was said on how autism affect this. I’m male, I have a shorter ring finger on my left hand and a longer one on my right hand. I’m a mix of the descriptions provided. I’m good with conflict resolution, introverted but a very mixed blend of logical and emotional. I am not, however, goal oriented. I like the idea of goals but my ADHD prevents me from reaching them. It’s strange that a longer ring finger is associated with intelligence as I have a shorter left ring finger but an IQ of 140.

I am also aware that the 2D:4D ratio affects sexuality. Longer ring fingers in women tend to result commonly in gay, bi or hypersexual straight women. Shorter ring fingers in men tend to result commonly in gay, bi or ace men. I myself am abrosexual which just means that my orientation is fluid and I find myself attracted to men and women and also no-one through different periods of time. It’s extremely frustrating and I wish I’d had a longer ring finger. Maybe I would have been more normal. Whatever happened to me in the womb, I obviously wasn’t exposed to enough testosterone and it seems to have ruined my body and the direction of my life from what I actually want to be: a tall, straight and logical male. You won’t hear many people admit something like that, but that’s my truth.

  2. Bottom line is that almost ALWAYS, (there are exceptions to every rule), MEN have longer ring fingers versus index fingers, whereas WOMEN have longer index fingers or both fingers are equal in size. This is a way to determine trangendered MTF's from REAL women. However these MTF's can now purchase realistic, prosthetic ring finger extensions online. This is quite common in Hollywood where they often use men to portray females in movies and TV shows roles.
