SIBLEY—A 42-year-old Lake Park man was cited about 9:15 p.m. Monday, Jan. 1, in Sibley for second-offense possession of a controlled substance — marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
The citing of Raymon Bernard Slinger stemmed from the execution of a Dickinson County warrant at 401 Fifth Ave. in Sibley, according to the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office.
The odor of marijuana was detected and a clear glass jar containing green plant material and a glass pipe with burnt marijuana residue were observed on a shelf in the breezeway.
Slinger admitted the marijuana was his, according to the incident report.
