  1. Are all Americans incapable of rational and objective thought? This guy just said he is not being judgemental and that marijuana use is the recipe for the 40-year-old stay at home in the same sentence?

  2. Sometimes weed can be good but sometimes it can make the adhd symptoms worse. And paranoia can be debilitating. I feel like if I take a 5mg edible or even half, and forget that I took it. It will gradually make me feel great and socially wonderful. To much and I’m screwed. Also the part about forgetting I took the audible makes me think I’m in a naturally great head space. It’s a tough balance to find

  3. I'm 31 and in the UK and its been pretty obvious I've had adhd for the last 10 years. A final evaluation is coming this December to confirm it. I grew up in a rough area so violence, fighting, arguing confrontation and such was a pretty normal daily occurrence. School had plenty of students which acted much worse than me so my occasional explosions of violence and outbursts and breakdowns didn't light any bulbs in peoples heads. I went on to study Mechanics and eventually becoming a qualified HGV Technician which i screwed up not long after qualifying. Bunch of other jobs later i go offshore for a few years and work my way up into a decent position earning great money and i screwed that up too. I left on a whim due to an anger issue about a change in a heli departure time. Been in countless jobs since and never found anything that i can focus on that i love. Through all this i never smoked cannabis much. On the odd occasion but usually with alcohol or what not.

Recently I've started studying Mechanical engineering and last year i really really struggled with the maths involved which i now resit this year. I've never been able to smoke cannabis outside of a social setting with close friends or very late at night on the odd occasion definitely no where public or where i would have to talk to people who don't know I've smoked. The anxiety felt unbearable. However i noticed that some nights even when tired and i had smoked. The maths made sense. I was going into 2/3 hour long study sessions and literally crying with happiness falling asleep at the wonders i had just achieved. My new year started and the same exam i struggled last year with i have just walked out knowing i have aced it. Not only did i fly through the exam i could go over my work over and over again double and triple checking the equations. I walked into that exam high as a kite and walked out even higher.

The cannabis was never to help with adhd symptoms. I smoked it because i liked being high. I would never have thought it would help me study or clean and get off my arse and do things. I purposely avoided it for years because i thought that cannabis would make me lazy. Id have to have nothing to do absolutely nothing of any importance before i would use it. If only i knew that all i had to do was smoke and i could get anything done.

  4. No offense to doctors, they are trying, but it seems to me at least, most doctors don't really know a lot outside of regurgitating the same stuff they learned in school. I've been to 3 doctors in the past, all for the same things, and all 3 gave completely different diagnoses/ treatments. My point is, do what you feel works best for you, but be honest with yourself. Most doctors aren't going to be much help.

  5. Weed plus poor self control is no better than any drug. Issue is with adhd you will validate using something that makes you feel good. Will yeah it might help you slightly, in the long run you aren’t going to improve and once tolerance kicks in your going to loose more control over your executive function.

  6. I unfortunately only have anecdotal evidence, but the ADHD+autism group could be slightly different from the ADHD group in some ways. People with just ADHD who smoke weed tend to experience their ADHD symptomes getting worse, whereas the Autism+ADHD group may have an opposite experience. Some even get worse on stimulants or some stimulants (metylphenidate is possibly a worse firsthand option for this group).

  7. Personally my experience with medical cannabis has been quite good, since I started I've been actually been getting decent night sleeps, I'm more foucesed when sober and a side benefit is it's helped me lose weight as how I'm no longer as hungry during the day. Compared to concerta which left me over stimulated and barley able to sleep meaning I was falling asleep during classes.

    Is it for everyone? No
Will I continue to use it more whole life? Probably not, but for now it's working and I'm getting the results I want.

  8. I've had a peculiar experience myself. I spend half of my day sober and focus on my sober thoughts. But in my second half of the day I smoke and compare my sober thoughts to my non-sober thoughts. As a result I've been able to see many different situations from many different perspectives with the combined adhd. I also dream the same dream but never forget it when I wake up, as if I'm building an alternate reality in my own head. I also see myself being more perceptive. Also, most times when I smoke with others, they'll all feel drowsy and calm but I can still have a full length conversation and feel the calming effects at the same time. Very interesting balance.

  9. I’ve been smoking since I was 15 I’m 49 now …and I never knew I had adhd Until the last few years…it’s been helping me all my life and I didn’t even know it lol

  10. I agree I still think it could be useful maybe in some Adolescence but lack of motivation would definitely be a high concern for me as well I found your video because I am looking for information about ADHD and marijuana/CBD treatments verses his adderall treatment which also works wonders yes effects his weigh Drastically

  11. I find that it only really helps when Microdosing.

That's the key, but it's also a VERY slippery slope.

If you were thinking to try it, only use gummies. Anything else like vaping it or smoking it ihas become too convenient, and it will make your ADD mind seek it more and more, and then you won't be microdosing anymore–you will just like to get high all the time lol.

And make sure it is a 1:1 CBD to THC ratio. You will need the CBD to offset the head high of THC a little bit.

For microdosing on gummies, I started with 5mg. That came in too hot lol. So next I tried 2.5mg, which I found was a good microdose for me, but I'm sure 2mg would also be good.

    Speaking from my experience.

  12. ADHD and cannabis is the best i have discovered yet. Started as a doctor rabbit.. adhd medicstions (amfetamins) started at age 4… discovered cannabis at age 19. NEVER GOING BACK TO AMFETAMINS!!

  13. What are your thoughts on Adderall for adhd in the daytime and thc in the evening for adhd, chronic pain and insomnia (I have a medical marijuana card for spinal stenosis lumbar but I was diagnosed with adhd and prescribed Adderall)?
